Project 365: Week 31

Day 206: Oh my God this was so amazing! We went back to York for Ben's parents big birthday bash. By big I mean about 60 people. Our friend Mattia asked me to bring my banjo so we could perform a few songs however he didn't tell me he was gonna take on a whole new persona as Lil' Matty Foo Foo in Cripple Creek Charlie's Bluegrass Band!! It was so funny and I'd say we put on quite a good performance too!

Day 207: The next morning I was catching hover flies on all the flowers in their garden. These little guys just let you pick them up!

Day 208: Ben went out to do a 100 mile ride and therefore was out for hours. I was left alone to fend for myself so this happened. (I sent him this picture to try to lure him back).

Day 209: Have you ever seen a picture that just completely reflects who you feel you are in your soul? I found mine!

Day 210: Saw these gorgeous pots in Ora on Sharrow Vale Road. I've recently converted our attic room into a bedroom and I think this would look really good up there. Also, Alex if you're reading this they totally match that jumper you have!

Day 211: I'm considering a change of career and so have been reading up on the subject.

Day 212: Haha, as soon as I saw this I sent it to my mum. So true!

Project 365: Week 21

Day 135: I've started filming myself playing the banjo and guitar recently (see instagram) just as a way to document it I suppose and it'll be nice for my children/grandchildren to see photos of me doing everyday things such as this.

Day 136: I can't remember if I've mentioned this before or not but I'm the new 'great place to work' rep at work (LOL) and therefore have to get people enthusiastic about things they don't give a crap about. (It's secretly quite fun) At the moment we've got our colleague of the year/Love Awards happening and I've been the promoter for it. The extent of my efforts was to put wrapping paper around a box and hang it up. It's actually full of votes though!!

Day 137: The gang at Ashoka for Ben and Sidd's birthday meal!

Day 138: Spent the afternoon with Alex sat sipping tea and eating muffins in her garden in the sun. Lovely!

Day 139: I had the best time out at the leaving do for some colleagues and friends of mine. I absolutely love these guys! Ben (on the left) you're right when you say it's the end of an era, more nights out like this to come soon though!

Day 140: ...the next day was a bit of a write off! Ha!

Day 141: More beautiful days have been and gone. It's currently chucking it down as I write this.

Hope you're having a good week.

Project 365: Week 12

Day 72: Look at these little cuties I found in Plantology! (ps just found out the tall one next to our tv will one day grow to be 10ft!)

Day 73: I'm doing what I always do, starting a project that's way above the limit of my abilities and expecting it to be a complete success - LOL. My new sewing project is a bloody pair of trousers and it's not half difficult! I'm determind to take my time and do it properly though. Hopefully soon I'll be doing a post about how well they came out!

Day 74: Breakfast at Marmaduke's with Alex. It's either gonna be a full english or pancakes!

Day 75: It has arrived!! That feeling when you would really love something but you don't think you'll ever have it and then it appears in front of you! Oh it sounds so beautiful too. I'm in love.

Day 76: You can't go far in this city before you find some Phlegm

Day 77: I made myself a little make up bag/pouch to match my trousers!. As I'm writing this, Ben is on the sewing machine making his own little cycling pouch.

Day 78: If you're a candle kind of person and are looking for something new I would definitely recommend this aloe water yankee candle. The smell is gorgeous and is very much there! I swear you can smell it even if you haven't been burning it.

Hope you're enjoying your week!
